Christmas is a time for togetherness and family time!
In this edition of Vamos a Livros, the FEUP Library has taken advantage of this motto to bring together authors from different countries who have made a mark on world literature. These are authors from different countries and continents, with different points of view, who have nothing in common with each other, but who at this festive season we're bringing together on the same bookshelf. If Christmas is synonymous with family unity, the library has extended this union to literature. Let yourself be carried away by stories written on the other side of the world, but also in neighbouring countries. This is what Christmas is all about: looking after ourselves and those closest to us, but also looking after those who aren't so close. It's learning from each other because that's the only way we'll be better, it's getting to know each other and making ourselves known.
Take advantage of the cold, rainy days and get to know authors you've never read or re-read a book you've already read and you'll see that you'll read it from a different perspective.
And remember that it is in unity that we will always be happier.
