Because I was born in Porto/ I know the name of the flowers and trees, wrote Sophia de Mello Breyner, a poet born in Porto. We thought this poem was a great way to celebrate the arrival of spring, Tree Day and World Poetry Day.
From March 21st, come and discover at the Feup Library a set of works by poets who were born in Oporto. Were they inspired by the essence of the city, by the spirit of this place and its singularities?
